mi father

This could be the first time i write about my father. 

Usually, i would write about my mum instead...

Coz my mom always inspire me so much...

The way she handles my father

The way she prays for my father (and whole family off course)

The way she raises up her children (total 5 children, and all are good hahaha..including me off course)

The way she loves me

The way she loves my father...

See..even i want to write about my father, i end up writing about my mum.. ^-^ 

Anyway, my father has just been touched with God's love *again* .

He could not pray, how hard he tried.

He could not worship, how hard he tried

He could not stop hurting God and my mum's heart, how hard he tried not to

Till one day, FATHER caught him and won't let him go

He is fast too angry and speak up whatever in his mind

Thus made him always end up in trouble.

Yesterday, he had to meet people for a negotiation. (my brother just "ngunduri" other people's car, but actually not much scratch. But the person however very angry to him that ask him to pay 10 millions rupiah. This man actually didn't see his car, he was outside town)

My father cannot stand to be shouted at. He will surely talk back.

So, before the meeting, he went to a mountain of prayer.

He prayed and seek God's advice.

Before he really left, my mum called him.

And told him to keep SILENCE whatever the person talked to him!

Also, my mom told him to keep PRAYING inside his heart, thus he can stay calm while facing the pressure from others.

Usually, my father won't keep silence. He will keep speak the bad words that made the other person would angry with him more.

But this time,  when the person shouted and angry to him. He, however, managed to keep silence and prayed the prayer my mum taught him, "Lord Jesus please help me, strengthened me, help me". He said that something was keep asking him to keep silence.

later on, his face becomes very red.

And then, the person slowly become calm and asked my father, "do you have hypertension?"

my father said, "yes,  i do"

other person, "do u want to see doctor? do u want me to send u to hospital for a check up?"

my father said."no need.."

 .....................

anyway, the meeting end up with the person agreed to fix the car to my father's friend.

and it costs him only 800 thousands rupiah.(first time he asked 10 millions rupiah, remember..)

He told everything to my mum. and my mum said, "see, that's how Holy Spirit lead you."

Praise God that he want to obey the Holy Spirit that asked him to keep silence.

Anyway, 1 problem has solved. But i believe that this is only the beginning. He will surely guide my father to solve his other problems.

I am really blessed for whatever You have done thru the people around me..

I am grateful for the verse You've given to me via Genjek.

John 14:14

Indonesian: "Jika kamu meminta sesuatu kepada-Ku dalam nama-Ku, Aku akan melakukannya."

Amplified: "[Yes] I will grant [I Myself will do for you] whatever you shall ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM].

Maybe, for the Amplified version, it would be clearer if we include the previous verses (verse 12 and 13).

"I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.

And I will do [I Myself will grant] whatever you ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], so that the Father may be glorified and extolled in (through) the Son [Exod 3:14]"

And AMEN. You show me that You have granted whatever I have asked, whether its only 5 seconds before or years before. As long as i believe in You, You will give me the power and You Yourself will strengthened me, empowered me to be a blessing , thus Father may be glorified and extolled in (through) my life as well.

I am spechless Lord Jesus.

Thank You for Your blessings and visons for these 29-year journey in my life. And I know You won't stop here. Coz You have said, that You will not leave me as orphans (comfortless, desolate, bereaved, forlorn, helpless)  -- John 14:18.

More than that, You said that You Yourself will do for me. Who am I Lord that You give me LOVE abundantly thus I can only fall in my knees. Trembled by Your Love.

Anyway Lord, yesterday i heard lovely song, "Mengejar Hadir-Mu" by GMB (Giving My Best).  The song touched my heart so much. It will be my prayer from today onwards. Catch Your Presence in my life.

I will post the lyric of the song in the next post.

Once again Lord Jesus, thank you for EVERY SINGLE LITTLE THINGs that You have done in my life.

How to detect a counterfeit money ?

Recently, i just received this information from my friend. Unfortunately, it's only useful for Indonesian Money, with different nominal.

So here we go...with Indonesian Language Mode: ON.

UANG palsu masih saja beredar.

Tanpa memiliki alat khusus, kita bisa saja mengetes apakah uang yang kita terima asli atau palsu.

Berikut cara mengetes untuk mengetahui keaslian uang lembaran kertas.


Tes uang Rp100.000, Rp50.000, dan Rp20.000

1. Lipat menjadi empat bagian secara simetris memanjang

2. Tekan uang itu secara perlahan-lahan.

3. Buka perlahan-lahan lipatan uang itu.

4. Bila kacamata Bung Hatta, WR Supratman, atau Ki Hajar Dewantara pecah berarti uang itu palsu.

5. Khusus uang Rp50.000, periksa teks lagunya, kalau bukan Indonesia Raya pasti uang palsu



Tes uang Rp10.000

1. Lipat menjadi empat bagian secara memanjang.

2. Tekan uang itu dengan tekanan secukupnya.

3. Kalau uangnya jadi basah karena kawahnya tumpah atau kalau konde Cut Nyak Dien lepas, berarti itu uang palsu.

1. Ambil sisir rambut di rumah, kemudian gesekkan pada uang tersebut.

Cari SD Negeri terdekat, cukup taruh di trotoar depan sekolah. Kalau uang itu hilang berarti asli.

Sedangkan uang kertas Rp500 agak susah dites, karena anak-anak SD saja sudah tidak peduli. Satu-satunya cara adalah meremas kencang-kencang uang itu. Kalau monyetnya teriak berarti palsu.

Been so busy lately thus have no time to write.
I do really missed the time for writing.

Actually not that i have no time to write.
It was just when I arrived at home, I won't open my netbook nor open internet.

I really want to enjoy my homy time with reading or watching tv.

It might be different with your plan, but believe me..it works!

Just a thinking...

God's way, might be different from our way. *surely it is, we knew the theory, but might be not with the practice*

We might think that to achieve our purposes we should do this '5 steps' or that '7 habits' or this '6 miraculous that works' or else.

We often listen to others' story just to realize that we also want God works with that methods into our life.

Or else, according to our experiences, we expected people to experience what we have been thru before.

The thing is, what is working with you, might not be worked the same way with others.

Like this Naaman, he though that if God want to heal him, this Elijah, this servant of God will come to him, lay his hand upon the illness, and pray for him, cry out to God for the healing and he will be healed. (2 Kings 5:11)

But God want to heal him differently. God, thru His servant, Elijah, asked him to wash himself inside the river of Jordan, 7 times.

¹¹But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.  

¹²Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.

He was wroth. Above was what he thinking. Fortunately his servant managed to persuade him, "if Elijah had told him to do a difficult thing, wouldn't he will do according to his word. more over, Elijah only asked him to do a simple things. wash seven times and be clean".

So, Naaman might be just give it a try. At the end, he was healed.

Am not intend to write about his obedience. Actually, i just was thinking that most of us, might have the same respond with Naaman. We might be wroth. Especially if God didn't do it "our way". Just simply because we've heard the way how God's work before in others' life. And we think that should be the way.

Just being reminded that, GOD can teach you how to achieve your purpose differently.

It might not be the same with others. It might not be the same with your plans. with the common way. Just believe him. Listen to Him carefully.

Have a great relationship with Him. Live life to the fullest. and ACHIEVE your DREAMS with HIM.

life vs plurk

Lately, I've been thinking a lot ...
*hmm..not really*

I've been plurking for sometimes already..
And i've just anyhow find out that sometimes our life, our relationship with God is having merely the same concept with plurk.
Not 100% the same. but I did realize that i can learn something here.

Sometimes when you are plurking, it's just like another day. You plurk. And with or without you realize it or not, some karma will be added to yours.

If you stop to do the activity, if you stop plurking, then your Karma will be stagnant and then getting lowered.

Ok, i grabbed this rules from plurk.

Every plurker has his/her own karma value. It is recalculated every day and can be within these intervals:

Ok. So what is the relation with our life.

First, before we start our journey with Him, we meet Him and accept Him as our saviour. That's where our journey in life starts.

  So, we start our relationship with God from zero. We are in the state of creation. We want to know Him more. We start to do a research towards God. About who is He, what He want to do, what is His vision and mission, how to interact with Him.
  
  We curios about what will going to happen along the way. We create a new life line with Him.
  

• 21.00 to 41.00: You are in the state of maintenance
  Ok. Since we have been faithful to Him, plurking everyday, thus our karma is increasing day by day. And this is the state that we should continue to maintain the karma that we've gained.
  
  So, here in this state. We go to church every week. We don't miss the servie. We go to the cellgroup as well. We've been doing so good.
  
  
• 41.00 to 61.00: You are enlightened
  We are enlightened. we feel so blessed having a GREAT GOD like Jesus.
  We continue to plurk with Him. We update Him with our journey in life.
  
  We begin to used to plurk everyday. And we still have this goal. REACH PLURK NIRVANA!
  
  In this state, we received His vision and mission in our life. And surely we want to fulfill His purposes in our life.

  Yet, it's not the end. Maybe there's nothing more tangible for our rewards. But if we are faithful, do you know that your emoticons in life will always be there. The joy, the characters that has been built for years. It will remains there, only by a simple step.
  
  Keep Him updates with your life.

If we are trying to stop updating Him with our life (read: stop praying or having conversation with Him), surely we will lost our Karma. We will lost our love with Him. We will know Him no more.

So, i think here is the simple conclusion.

KEEP HIM UPDATES WITH YOUR LIFE BY PRAYING

important note: in plurk, we can FREEZE our karma, but not in our relationship with Him.
We cannot freeze our emotion, our life....

a journey to be a King

Being anointed to be a King, David was not directly being a King.
He was young when he was anointed to be a king.

There was a time that he had to play the harp for King Saul.
There was a time that he was being the escort of King Saul.
There was a time where he had to face the giant Goliath.
There was a time where he was being a fugitive. He had to run away from Saul.
There was a time where he pretended being insane. humiliated himself.
There was a time where he had to run to his nation's enemy for a refuge.

He's been through so many years.
He's been through so many trials
He's been through so many processes.

Yet, he proved it that he was being righteousness in everything he did.
Yet, he proved that he has a pure heart.
A heart that loving God more than anything.
A heart that are longing for God, no matter what.
A heart that really depends on HIM no matter what.

God, will surely processes you before He promotes/assigns you to the place/position that you've been anointed before.
Timing. Is always different from one to others.
For David, he took so many years before he achieved what has been promised to him.

The timing might be different for us. But surely, He will processes us before He can uses us.

Anyway, there was a time where David's followers were grieving and angry towards him. They wanted to throw the stones to him because they lost ALL of what they had. Their possession, their wives and children, and their livestock a well. (1 Sam 30:1-8)

What is the respond of David?
He went to God. He prayed. And he was strengthened his heart to trust Him ever more. (1 Sam 30:6)
⁶David was greatly distressed, for the men spoke of stoning him because the souls of them all were bitterly grieved, each man for his sons and daughters. But David encouraged and strengthened himself in the Lord his God (Amplified)

(^-^) thus, in whatever time we are now, please, do strengthened your heart to TRUST HIM evermore.
It's our part to strengthen our heart. It's not His part. It's our part.
He will surely hear you and take care of yours.

Morning or Evening Prayer

Today is the third day of 365 prayer days.
Yet i failed to come to the prayer meeting.

anyway...this post is written on 3rd july.
i just continue to write it on 28th july.

just attend the prayer meeting once for 28 days.
hahaha

will try to attend more of them.

too good to be true

reading the judges really thrilled me away
read about how stubborn the Israelite that time.
read about how God handle the stubborness with His meekness.

He is truly too good to be true. Indeed, He is.

Though He said that He would not deliver them, yet when He found they were worshipping Him, once again His heart was touched. Thus HE raise His hand and deliver His people from their enemies.

Lord, really...
Am speechless in Your presence...
teach me to be humble
mold me as You want me to be
I would learn to be obedient to Your words

You are the God that will deliver Your people....
You are the God that set us free...
Lead me to lead your people..
Bring me to the center of Your heart
and let me know You more...

in His plan

after sometimes
when we've grown up
we would realize that somehow life is not that simple
yet not that complicated

it's a matter of waiting for the right time
it's a matter of responding with the right attitude
it's a matter of being persistent and detailed.

life is not always what we want it to be
but life will always be what He want it to be

always trust Him no matter what.

a simple to say, a hard to do

to say "Lord I'm willing to follow you wherever You may go" maybe simple.

Not to say that you are just say it out of the blue.
Nor to say that you are say it out of your emotion only.

when we said it. it is purely come from our sincerity.
nevertheless when the calling is come true, have u ever asked yourself honestly, "would i leave whatever i have right now?"

"Would i give ALL that i have now to serve HIM?"
"Would I be able to give up my money, my possession, my family, and else to follow Him?"

When we face the fact, yes, it seems so hard indeed. so many things suddenly pop up into our mind. And a lot of "what if" suddenly become familiar with our brains.

But, come to fact that He is in control. What we should do is being obedient.
Loving Him wholeheartedly, and everything will be added into your life.

river festival - free river taxi ride

It's been quite some time for me watching the river taxi floating on the water. Sometimes, i took some pictures of them. But because of this River Festival, i could go on board Free of Charge.

hoho...at first, i thought it will be a long queue since it was a free ride. Later, we (yenny and me) found out that the queue was not that long, that we decided to queue after all. ^^

Thus, last sunday, 21 June 2009, finally i was inside the boat. ^^
Just a few minutes ride, but at least i knew how it feels. hoho..

oya, the other pics were part of the river festival. They have the boat parade.

Blood Donation and Song Fa Bakkut Teh

It was the first time i did a blood donation at Singapore.
Previously, i only did it once in Indonesia. Haha. I got rejected twice. Once was because of the minimum weight, the other was because the low blood pressure.

When Henry texted me, actually i have told him that i may not be eligible to donate blood.
Somehow, after sometimes, i wanna give it a try. So, i texted my cellgroup's friend, named Billy, to ask him whether he want to donate his blood or not.

Since it was supposed to be very first time for him to donate blood, he would love to if there's someone accompany him. I agreed.

old not old

today, when i was on my way back, i saw one couple. An old one. They came with their son *i just think that it supposed to be their son anyway*.

I was amazed with the way the husband treated his wife. It was not packed in the mrt. Yet, he slowly touched his wife's hand, and hold it for quite a moment, before his wife let it go. Then, he did not disappointed after his wife let his hand go. he still continue showing his love by laid his hand at his wife's shoulder to embrace her.

It just for a few second. but it was beautiful. It's very rare to have the elderly showing their loves each other in front of the public, esp if they are so traditional. Salute for him. I wish and I hope that one day, when i'm reached that age, i still have the passion and the courage to show my love towards my beloved. hehe..

Luv the Mini Car

I am not so into the car. But i'm sort of falling in love with the mini car.
Hehe. Once when i was walking across the church (yup, the church not a street :P), i saw this mini cute car that made me stop my step to watch it and tookthe picture of it.

Hoho, i luv it.

Back then, when the mini car started to be popular in Indonesia, i remembered that my comment was, "Wow, what car is that? like a toy. you can put a ribbon to the car and make it as a gift. It would be nice". hahahaha.

I don't event know what is the type of the car, yet i love the "vintage" touch of the car.
One day, i would love to drive and to possess it, hahaha.
Anyone to put the ribbon into the car and give it to me?

Today I was very tired. Doing mural all the day from 10am to 5pm.
Then, still I had to go to the church service at 5.30pm.

Thus, I will only post a new photo of mine. A finale pic of the mural that we have done today *6 june 09*, or call it yesterday by now.

it's been a while since my last writing *not my last posting*

lately, i have not been thinking enough.
dunno where has my mind gone.
it just..doesn't want to think hard.
and i wonder why.

a deep thinking ever slipped into my mind
yet i don't think deeply about that one.

a desire to write ever came into my mind
yet i write nothing.

must have read a lot of book before i continue to write.
must have refresh my relationship with Him before i could possibly think deeper.
