Setelah datang ke rumah Henry dan Ellen untuk merayakan baby shower putranya, Jayden, maka kami memutuskan untuk langsung ibadah. Secara kami udah deket dengan gereja, hehe....

Title: LIFE & LIGHT
John 1:1-4 (Amplified Bible)
"1IN THE beginning [before all time] was the Word ([a]Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God [b]Himself.(A)
2He was present originally with God.
3All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.
4In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men."
Genesis 5:1-2 (Amplified Bible)
1THIS IS the book (the written record, the history) of the generations of the offspring of Adam. When God created man, He made him in the likeness of God.
2He created them male and female and blessed them and named them [both] Adam [Man] at the time they were created.
Gen 5:1-2 tell us that God created mankind.
Man is created both in His image (ensemble*? not sure about the word here*) and likeness (inwardly).
Man has God's spirit within.
God's spirit reveals as a spiritman. This spiritman is dwell/live inside both male and female.
So, Male and Female are EQUAL in God's eye. They both given the same blessings and tasks.
Man has Spirit Life and Moral Likeness.
Moral Likeness talking about standard of holiness.
Then, why God created the male first then female?
It doesn't mean that MAN are better then WOMAN. But it is because there's a purpose.
God want the man to do some works first, do cultivate the soil, named all creatures, prepared everything before the Ladies come. (^-^) Man, because he is created in His image, he used to be so sweet.....hehe...
The Real Man, according to God, is not based on role, but on a purpose.
Roles determine by the society you live in. But not with the purpose of God.
The purpose will determine whether you are a real man or not.
When a friend asked you a question about, "if God created us, then who created HIM?"
We should answer, "He is ALMIGHTY, He is the one that created us. He is the beginning. So, no one has created Him. He is there before everything even exist."
Thus, He is the one who determine the purpose of us. Because He is the creator.Only the creator know what is the purpose of "a thing" created. Some certain things that we should know:
1. God is a God of a purpose.
He has a purpose for everything.
2. The purpose of the thing is in the mind of the maker.
3. The purpose of a thing determines the potential.
4. The potential of the thing also reveals its purpose
5. Where purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable.
Nowadays, men loss their sense of purpose. If someone loss his/her purpose, he/she will get confuse.
Key things the purpose why man created first:Man was taken from the ground. Ground talks about foundational thing.So, God want man to do the foundational things in this earth.
Before someone builds a house, they will need to do the foundation first.
Woman was taken from the rib of a man. A man was taken from the ground.
God creates a man to be a foundation, to do first what He want us to do in the earth.
Remember, Purpose reveals potential, potential reveals purpose as well.
Man, you are not so weak.
When God want to build a foundation, He choose you.
1 Cor 3:11 (Amplified Bible)
"11For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is [already] laid, which is Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)."
The foundation for the church is Jesus Christ.
Men are created in certain things. These are the foundational things that should found in a man:
1. Adam was put in a garden
Garden is talking about a home for Adam that moment. The Garden was a place for God would come over when He want to have a relationship with Adam. It's a place prepared for Adam to live, to maintain all the things and to stay connected with God. It was a place the God will presents.
This garden is talking that Everything man need actually is the Present of God.
Foundational Things : Man has a ROLE OF SEARCHING FOR GOD's PRESENT
2. Adam was given instruction
Remember that there's no Eve at that time. All things, God do it with Adam alone.
Genesis 2:15-16 (Amplified Bible)
15And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep it.
16And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, You may freely eat of every tree of the garden;
Adam received information and instruction and also revelation straight from God.
God didn't tell Eve (female) about the information above.
Man should have to communicate and to teach the female that time.
Foundational Things : Man has a ROLE OF TEACHER.
Man should be the one to communicate. And man has to teach.
3. Man was given work to tend.
We need to cultivate, to bring productivity & fulfilness.
Some will blame the fall because of woman, that man should work hard.
No! Man (Adam) used to love to work. Even before the woman came. So, it means even before the fall, man should loves to work.
Foundational Things: Man has a ROLE OF WORKING
4. Adam was given the garden to keep it or protect it.
Man born as a protector.
Foundational Things : Man has a ROLE OF PROTECTOR
5. Adam was asked to take leadership and ownership.
Genesis 2:19-20
19And out of the ground the Lord God formed every [wild] beast and living creature of the field and every bird of the air and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them; and whatever Adam called every living creature, that was its name.
20And Adam gave names to all the livestock and to the birds of the air and to every [wild] beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found a helper meet (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him.
Foundational Things : Man has a ROLE OF TAKING LEADERSHIP AND OWNERSHIP
God named the man, Adam. Adam named the animals.
So, Adam belongs to God. Animal belongs to Adam.
Man eventually fail in these 5 fields because of the fall.
Man purpose --> carry his life and standard of holiness all over the world. --> Cultural Mandate
Man should be fruitful and multiply.
Genesis 1:28 28And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.
Blessings come upon both male and female.
God speaks to man, and woman comes to be a helper.
God --> Man <-- woman(helper)
Man, you should get back to the present of God.
If you have no vision, no one will follow your leadership. Even your own wife/future wife. They will support another's man vision because woman mean to be a helper. Naturally she has to fulfil her purpose as a helper.
Genesis 2:17
17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and blessing and calamity you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.
The light become dimmer, dimmer and dimmer from the fall.
In the tabernacle, there's 3 parts"
- altar call
- holy places, and
- holy of Holies. --> arch of convenant
Arch of convenant tell us about 2 things:
a. Presents of God
b. Place where you store the ten commandment
When Jesus died, God took the fall of Adam. He put in tabernacle. Then torn it, so that now we can enter into His presence.
JC need to get out from the Holy of Holies. that's why He broke and torn the arch of convenant.
Receive holy spirit
The purpose will give illuminations, that will shine thru light. ---> Cultural Mandate.
John 4:21-24
21Jesus said to her, Woman, believe Me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither [merely] in this mountain nor [merely] in Jerusalem.
22You [Samaritans] do not know what you are worshiping [you worship what you do not comprehend]. We do know what we are worshiping [we worship what we have knowledge of and understand], for [after all] salvation comes from [among] the Jews.
23A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers.
24God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).
The day will come, that Holy spirits fill every place and every man.
2 Cor 4:3-4
3But even if our Gospel (the glad tidings) also be hidden (obscured and covered up with a veil that hinders the knowledge of God), it is hidden [only] to those who are perishing and obscured [only] to those who are spiritually dying and veiled [only] to those who are lost.
4For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers' minds [that they should not discern the truth], preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ (the Messiah), Who is the Image and Likeness of God.
Day of Creation - Light (vs 7-11)
- Jars of clay, this visual body
- Light of God - our treasure
Get back the vission:
1. You need to claim back the lost vission, the lost territorry
2. Restore back again the purpose why men are created
3. Earth crying out for it (Rom 8:19-24)
Eagerly wanting for redemption. Be a problem solver.
4. Your wife and your future wife can't wait it happens.
